What to Call It?

I'm welcoming title suggestions for my most recent oil painting.

So......
Should I assume that the title should be:

Silence

(it sounds much better than "No Comment")

"The Gathering". . . as storm clouds are gathering and mixing with the ocean to produce a storm.

Maybe, on a silly note:

"Get Out the Shovels" or "Run, Get Bread & Milk!"

My choices are probably due to the not welcomed storms of the past few weeks. Enough snow already!

Hmmm...maybe The Gathering Storm?

Yes ! That says it for me.

I've had several looks at this painting Deb and can't suggest anything - except, as it does look rather blustery - how about
'March Winds & April Showers'.
or perhaps just - 'March Winds'.
Sorry. All I can think of.
Cheers....B

I am writing poetry with lobster boat pictures, and tomorrow's letter is U. I had found a lobster boat named after a boat, the USS Alabama, that a lobsterman had named after the battleship he'd been stationed on in WWII. He is deceased now, but his name was Stan Simmons...just wondering if your dad was on at the same time he was. Just interesting connection as I was researching the boats and battleships! Your page is being linked to mine, to show my readers the battleship picture you have.

My dad was a plank holder. That means he was a member of the crew upon the ship's commissioning. He served on the Alabama from its launching until the end of the war. So...yes, probably on it at the same time! Of course the ship was huge and most likely many of the guys never met each other. My dad was FM Division. My mom and he used to attend the annual reunions at the ship at Battleship Park, Mobile AL

Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, I guess they would have been on it at the same time then. I think Stan Simmons is related to the person that built our retirement home back in 1900. And now looking for boat names beginning with a U, I connect these two men online. They probably didn't know each other, but I love making connections! Again, thanks!

Oh, and I loved your painting!
How about "Storm Marches"(as in marches forward)?
or "Storm Marshes"? Good luck with naming!
