Evening Chuckle

After working two days dealing with (foul language deleted) tourists, swarms of them, more than I ever want to see in one place again, particularly in the place where I'm working, I came home and checked my email. A nice update from my best neighbor friend in FL, some piano stuff, Scribb's clever comment on my last post, and this photo, sent by some family friends, titled "The Boat Goes In First".

"Clever comment?" Given the way today went -- a death struggle with a recalcitrant story I need to send off tomorrow -- I'm amazed I was able to come up with a coherent sentence!

Love that picture! I know how the poor dude feels....

Soon as I finished writing and headed off to reading I thought, "clever" was a poor choice of word. I guess I'm just glad that you (and I) can still find even a wee bit of humor (again, probably a poor choice) within our financial straits.

I am just soooo tired of being stressed over it.

Gee Scribbs, please tell me you are smarter than the dude! I certainly believe so.

You know how this happened, don't you. That slope looks very steep and very slippery. He just drove up, touched the brakes and slid ....
...all the way in! No brakes on the trailer.....it just pushed him further in.
Still made me laugh though.

Well, that may be true, but you're supposed to BACK IN!
