Some Folks Ruin It for the Rest

You might notice that I have eliminated the Followers feature in the sidebar. This has been done due to a couple of new additions that were inappropriate, 'spammish', and linked to sites that I did not wish to promote. Legitimate sites within the Followers feature allow those sites to be blocked if so desired. The two sites that caused me to eliminate the feature entirely could not be blocked individually.

I had another one this morning.
I have previously been 'hiding' them, but now cannot remember how I did it.
If I find out I'll let you know.

Thanks Bernard. I tried that method last night. The problem is that a couple of them (Ellie Great and the last problem one) don't show a block option when the instructions are followed. (Yours and the rest of the legitimate blogs that I wouldn't want to block do show a block option.) Don't know why.

At this point it's just easier to eliminate the feature. When I have time, I may add it back on again and start over.

For the rest of you reading this comment, K-D has sent me additional info that I didn't post here.

That also happened to me, I think I just refreshed the screen or went to the google screen and flipped back.
The block option pops up eventually.

Huh, hadn't thought of refresh. I did bounce around from screen to screen and try several times. Oh well, it'll be back to the drawing board. I'm thinking of trying a post activated update list of blogs like you have (I think) and leaving it at that.

Spam and viruses are just like the 'flu: you think you've found a cure, and a new, resistant strain pops up. Don't blame ya.

By the way, I am a relative of a former Nigerian government figure who would like to deposit $3,000,000 (three million dollars) in your estimable bank account. Please send me your bank account information and telephone number....

Sorry Scribbs, I'm already involved with a gentleman that wishes to purchase a 24 foot grand piano from me...or, if not available, something similar! However, if that falls through...

C'mon now, Deb! I'm getting a bit worried about some of the people that you're mixing with.Back on the straight and narrow, now, - where you belong! lol.
