Very funny...I almost captioned the photo as The Lineup. I also thought of Against the Wall for the Firing Squad. But I thought that might be a bit too brutal for the season.
I dunno about that "firing squad" thing but, having happy memories of digging into tasty reindeer steaks, I can imagine a sleigh-pullin' critter or two winding up on dinner tables after the citizens of your town band together to meet ol' Santy and his helpers down at the pier....
Hope you enjoyed Christmas and are not affected by what I read in this mornings newspapers? "The east coast of America was bracing itself for a powerful winter storm as up to 20 inches of snow was expected amid fierce winds."
Gosh 20". That makes our 4" seem like child's play. Stay warm....cheers....Bernard
Oh yes. Not the predicted 20" here, but very strong winds and about 8 - 10". Most of the town has no power. We have no cable TV. Some roads took a hit with high surf last night. Front Beach littered with rocks and debris, supposedly Bearskin Neck had water over it. People evacuated. The snow is extremely icy and heavy. I've been shoveling for an hour and a half and still have more to do.
I plan on a walk to town later and will take some pictures...maybe.

Looks like a booking photo to me...they should be lookin' suspicious!
Or it might be a lineup...the one on the left did it. I saw him do it.
Have to wonder what town ordinance they violated. I could guess....

You have at least one reader cringing!
. . . cringing!!
In November I was busy telling all the turkeys to "run for your lives!" Now I have to worry about the safety of Santa's reindeer?
Now back to eating my bowl of veggies and waiting for the fly over.
:-)
Merry Christmas!!
Yep, you'd be that reader!
Merry Christmas, Mary.
