More of the Letter

Well, I couldn't keep you hanging with that stalled vehicle any longer.  Again, if you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to scroll down and start at the beginning..."A Letter Home".

I'm beginning to think your dad planned each page of this letter to be a cliff-hanger, in the style of a movie serial of that time....

Did he send all the pages at once, or dribble 'em out to keep the interest back home at its peak?

More!

More!

I don't think it was planned that way, but.....later on he did have a way about things like that, particularly with Christmas presents. You could never tell by size, weight, or shaking of box. Could be a brick, or bells, or multiple layers of gift-wrapped boxes, or a hunk of wood disguising the gift.
