Snowy Morning Blues

Thought since I traipsed through the wet and white for the pictures, I'd post a couple more.

Welcome to Rockport. Nugent Stretch on Tuesday, January 15th. Yes, I took this while driving. Sshhhh, don't tell.
Artsy snow.
And more.

Jolly pretty. Do you have snow every year? You seem to be quite used tp dealing with it.

Oh yes, and this year we had a record amount in December.

Most of the time our location sticking out in the ocean helps to moderate the amount by keeping us a tad warmer than even just a few miles inland.

Sometimes it does backfire and we get dumped upon with a nor'easter. Gale force (and above) winds with driving rain if qarm enough or the dreaded snow.

I must say that I did think of your comment of walking in the snow-filled Canadian woods when Amanda and I went for our little jaunt to Loop Pond.

In contrast, we are due rain and 40°F Friday morning. Then clearing by afternoon and temps to tumble. We should be in the single digits F by Sunday afternoon. Yuck.

They are awesome!

Thanks LW, the hazards(?) of a digital camera - I took dozens of photos! And now what to do with them all!

Snow's nearly all gone as it has been raining for several hours.

No more pretty white stuff (for the rest of winter, I hope).

deb, I have a digital and I do the same thing!
Taking pictures is fun, trying to get that perfect shot!

This afternoon I deleted over 150 pictures from the memory card! And that's just from the past two weeks! When the card gets loaded up with a few hundred 'keepers', I replace it with a new one.
