White on White

White In White - chill of winter
It's on it's way folks.  Every indication is that we are to receive between 10 and 15 inches of snow beginning in the wee morning hours tomorrow.  This on top of the unexpected 6 inches of last Sunday morning.  New snow on top of old snow.  It'll look pretty and fresh for a couple of hours.  Then the plows and sand/salt trucks will start making their rounds and the pristine white will take on shades of ugly gray and brown.  Seems to be guaranteeing hours of shoveling.  The first removal will be immediately after breakfast.  Another clearing just before lunch...and so on throughout the storm.

Have I ever mentioned?

Do wooden hosses shiver? The ol' Carved Cayuse is probably delighted to be indoors, out of the way of the impending Snow-Blast.

And I don't blame him!

But I think I'd enjoy the snow there much more than I enjoyed it here, for some reason. Especially if I was indoors like the Plywood Pony.

Looking outside, inside is sounding and feeling many times better.

Elizabeth...I've been over the entire need to shovel area three times so far! The first was the worst, of course. It's verrrrry heavy. More like trying to shovel water. I'll be posting about the plow incident tonight (assuming we have electricity).
